Frequently Asked Question
When using various web conferencing applications, you may be asked to download and install a client to enter the room you wish to have a meeting in. You do not need to do this, as your web browser is more than capable to handle the task of video conferencing.
Below are a few guides to assist you with accessing meeting rooms without installing any software. For more information, click on the URL that corresponds to the software you wish to use:
Cisco WebEx:

Join from an Email Invitation:
1. Click the green Join button in the email invitation.
2. At the bottom of the new browser window that opens, click Join from your browser if you're joining a meeting. If you're joining an event, click Join by browser.

1. Open a Google Chrome browser.
2. Go to https://app.gotomeeting.com.
3. Enter the Meeting ID, then click the arrow key.
4. You'll be automatically launched into the Waiting Room or the live session!
Zoom:
1. When joining a Zoom meeting, click on 'Download and Run Zoom'. After doing so, a new option to 'Join from Web' will appear.
2. After joining, enter your name to be displayed to others in the meeting.
3. Once you have joined, you have an option to use your computer or the phone. The default is to use your computer, which can be achieved by clicking on the 'Join from Computer' button.
There is also a browser add-on/plug-in that you can install which automates this process.
